The Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Library is a member of MOBIUS (Missouri Bibliographic Information User System), which is a consortium of academic libraries with over fifty member colleges and universities in the state of Missouri. MOBIUS is divided into clusters which may include up to fourteen libraries each. Midwestern Library belongs to the KC-Towers cluster.
All materials in the Midwestern Library collection (books, audiovisuals, periodicals, etc.) are listed in the KC-Towers online Classic Catalog, which also includes the collections of several other libraries in the Kansas City and Northwest Missouri area. Go to the KC Cluster Libraries tab above to see a list.
One may search the catalog of either an individual library’s collection or the entire collection of all KC-Towerscluster libraries. To search only MBTS items, for example, make sure that “Midwestern Baptist” appears in the library search box. Selecting “KC-Towers Catalog” searches all the libraries in the KC-Towers cluster.
Faculty and students are able to request library materials from other MOBIUS libraries using any computer (and most mobile devices) with access to the Internet. Requested materials are usually delivered within one or two business days by the MOBIUS delivery system.
For more information on searching in the Classic Catalog, select the Search Help tab above.
